Neil Upton

Neil's background in quantity surveying, along with his meticulous attention to detail regarding time and costs, helped form the cornerstone of Woodman's 'on time, on budget' guarantee.

Neil became a director of Woodman in 1999. Shortly after this, the then MD retired and Neil and co-Director Gordon Reed took up the reins. Together they have taken Woodman to a new level, incorporating design and build work for car showroom refurbishments into their business offering, as well as maintaining relationships with existing project management clients.

Gordon Reed

Since joining Woodman as a Contracts Manager in the early 1980's, Gordon has been instrumental in the company's growth, developing a client base and the structure to support it. Gordon specialises in delivering complex projects within occupied buildings, such as the £10m American Express European Headquarters refit in Brighton.

His strength in project programming stems from his early years 'on the tools' that gave him an appreciation of tasks and timescales. Welcoming a challenge that others may shy away from, Gordon takes great pride in delivering projects on time and on budget.

Mandy Reed

On completion of her degree, Mandy embarked on a career in office interiors, specialising in interior fit out and office furniture supply and delivery. Prior to joining Woodman in 1999, she had gained an in-depth knowledge of the office furniture industry; having dealt with a major North American manufacturer as well as many UK based firms.

Since joining Woodman, Mandy has focused primarily on the development of the office furniture business; ensuring quality products are sourced at the right price. Mandy was appointed a director in 2005.
